Job summary

ABB is seeking an Integrated Production Unit Leader (IPU) in Richmond, VA, to drive efficient and cost‑effective production. You will oversee planning, fulfillment, assembly, packaging and test for both in‑house production and contract manufacturing.

You will lead a production unit team, allocate resources, monitor volumes, schedules, and quality, and partner with safety and lean initiatives to meet targets and budget. A Bachelor degree and SAP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Supply Chain or related field with at least 8 years in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership of production and fulfillment teams.
• SAP experience required; ability to localize new products.
• Work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production scheduling and plans meet demand and inventory service levels; drive Health and Safety culture.
• Lead a production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts into ABB products.
• Organize and allocate resources to meet line production targets efficiently.
• Support Sales during customer visits to explain manufacturing capabilities and lean improvements.
