Job summary

Intuit's TurboTax Retail Expert role invites you to deliver hands-on tax advice and complete tax returns for individuals and small businesses at an on-site TurboTax store.

You will own client relationships, provide year-round guidance, and collaborate with bookkeeping, payroll, and other specialists to ensure a seamless experience.

This community-facing position emphasizes excellent service, local outreach, and representing TurboTax in the community, with flexible weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business tax return preparation for at least 20 clients per season.
• 3 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 returns per year.
• Bookkeeping knowledge with willingness to upskill to QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
• Experience with small business tax returns and year-round guidance.
• State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds as required.
• Onsite retail location availability, 20 hours per week minimum.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation services for TurboTax clients.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, planning, and Credit Karma services.
• Build Relationships - develop long-term trust and repeat business with customers.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professionalism and proactive client support.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - represent TurboTax locally and in marketing efforts.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert to long-term clients.
• Lead local marketing initiatives with TurboTax to grow the customer base.
