Qualifications

Requires current Indiana license or eligibility for Indiana licensure as a Pharmacist.
PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy completed before 2006.
5–7 years pharmacist experience required.
Knowledge of federal and state laws regulating dispensing of drugs and narcotics.
Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees daily operations of the hospital pharmacy and staff.
Collaborates with physicians to improve patient drug therapy outcomes.
Assist the pharmacy director with activities involving the pharmacy and therapeutics committee.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and support quality initiatives.
Manage inventory and contribute to financial performance of the pharmacy.
Onsite role with occasional travel to Muncie and Indianapolis; rounds evenings/weekends as needed.
