Kurt J. Lesker Company (KJLC) is seeking a Repair Technician to join our Manufacturing/Repair & Manufacturing team in Glassport, PA.

This hands-on, onsite role focuses on evaluating, repairing, rebuilding, and testing mechanical vacuum pumps and related industrial equipment. This position is ideal for mechanically inclined technicians who enjoy troubleshooting, working with tools and machinery, and supporting high‑quality repair services in a safety‑focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems per job instructions.
• Read and interpret schematics and parts descriptions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to document and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, repair, rebuild, and test mechanical vacuum pumps and related devices.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems including motors, sensors, and wiring.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled equipment servicing; document repairs in ERP.
• Read part numbers, schematics, and measuring tools; operate machinery and hand tools safely.
