Job summary

Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Technician to support our Vacuum Services operation in Glassport, PA. This role combines inventory management, material handling, shipping/receiving, and the mechanical repair of vacuum pumps and related equipment.

If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, using hand tools, and keeping operations running smoothly, we’d like to hear from you. This is a full-time, daylight shift position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials in a production environment.
• Inventory, warehouse, maintenance, repair, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and operate safely.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted (60 lbs with assistance).

Responsibilities

• Receive, move, store, pick, and ship materials throughout the facility.
• Process inventory transactions in the ERP system.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain organized inventory locations.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, test, and paint vacuum pumps and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on Vacuum Services equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs.
• Operate shop equipment and material handling devices.
• Support Lean and 6S initiatives to improve workplace organization and efficiency.
