Hertz in Lihue, HI is seeking an Onsite Rental Sales Agent (Part Time) to assist customers at the counter, explaining rental options and any insurance or ancillary coverage.

You will process rentals and returns, welcome customers with a smile, and represent Hertz with professional appearance and behavior while delivering world-class service.

This position offers $16.50 per hour plus commission, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, weekly pay, and benefits after 30 days, with opportunities for career growth.

As an Onsite Rental Sales Agent Part Time, you will be interacting with our customers who come to the counter in order to process their rental. You will not only process customer rentals but will actively consult with customers on the type of rental they need, including any insurance or ancillary benefits or coverage.

What You’ll Get:

• Hourly Rate is $16.50 + commission, median incentive is approximately $2,230/month, varies based on job performance
• Sign-on Bonus: $2,000 ($1,000 paid at 60 and 90 days of employment)

• Prepare all rental and return documents accurately and completely.
• Qualify each customer using our company rental requirement guidelines.
• Providecustomers assistance with directions, maps, local area information, appropriate service information, etc.
• Review rental parameters with all customers to ensure a complete understanding of our rates and service charges.
• Ensure that the return date and time on the rental agreement is accurate.
• Review all charges at the time of vehicle return.
• Prepare the Rental Agreement Folder with all required information.
• Answer the phones to assist customers in afriendly, helpful and prompt manner.
• Assist customers by effectively resolving all customer service issues.
• Assist and coordinate customers within the queue to minimize any wait time and promote the most efficient service method as required.
