Job summary

Hertz, operating as Dollar/Thrifty at Kahului Airport, is seeking an Onsite Rental Sales Agent. You will consult with customers to determine rental needs, explain insurance options, process rentals and returns, and uphold Hertz brand standards.

This role offers an hourly base rate of $17.00 plus commission, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus disbursed across 60 and 90 days. Benefits include weekly pay, paid training, and medical/dental/vision options after 30 days.

As a Dollar/Thrifty Onsite Rental Sales Agent, you will be interacting with our customers who come to the counter in order to process their rental. You will not only process customer rentals but will actively consult with customers on the type of rental they need, including any insurance or ancillary benefits or coverage.

• Prepare all rental and return documents accurately and completely.
• Qualify each customer using our company rental requirement guidelines.
• Providecustomers assistance with directions, maps, local area information, appropriate service information, etc.
• Review rental parameters with all customers to ensure a complete understanding of our rates and service charges.
• Ensure that the return date and time on the rental agreement is accurate.
• Review all charges at the time of vehicle return.
• Prepare the Rental Agreement Folder with all required information.
• Answer the phones to assist customers in afriendly, helpful and prompt manner.
• Assist customers by effectively resolving all customer service issues.
• Assist and coordinate customers within the queue to minimize any wait time and promote the most efficient service method as required.
