Job summary

Entre Technology Services is seeking a Technician I/II/III to provide onsite and remote IT support for small and medium businesses across Montana. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage user tickets, and document resolutions.

Strong communication and organization are essential as you collaborate with a growing team. Ideal candidates have 1–5+ years of experience, solid knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and AD, and the ability to work with remote tools.

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years helpdesk/field-onsite support for small and medium businesses.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies including Office 365, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Experience with Active Directory, Domain and Group Policy Administration, and Windows network administration.
• Ability to install, upgrade and troubleshoot Windows 7/10 in domain/workgroup environments.
• Experience with wired/wireless networks and basic networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, WAN/LAN TCP/IP).
• Experience with security software for virus protection, spyware, malware, and spam.
• Experience supporting mobile devices and remote IT support delivery tools.
• Must be able to learn new technologies quickly and lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Daily time entry in service tickets with notes.
• Assist with on-site and remote IT support for clients.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, document resolutions.
• Maintain inventory, prepare system setups for new hires.
• Collaborate with team to create knowledge base articles in IT Glue.
