Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking on-site contract interpreters in the Cincinnati area to bridge language gaps across healthcare, education, government, and other settings. Interpreters will provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and all spoken languages, plus remote interpretation when needed.

Applicants must be 18+, fluent in English and all spoken languages, complete evaluations, and comply with client requirements, confidentiality, and health-immunization standards.

Qualifications

• Professional proficiency in English and all spoken languages.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation between English and all spoken languages.
• Completion of language/interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Submission of a current résumé in English during the application process.
• Basic computer and technology proficiency.
• Ability to travel to and from onsite assignments.
• Compliance with health, immunization, and client/site requirements.
• Background, security, fingerprinting, and/or drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and all spoken languages during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow applicable interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, patients, customers, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
