Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking onsite contract interpreters in the Cincinnati OH area to facilitate accurate communication across languages. You will perform consecutive interpretation for English and multiple languages on accepted onsite assignments, with remote interpretation options when needed.

Applicants should be 18+, fluent in English and all spoken languages, and capable of passing proficiency evaluations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to interpret between English and multiple languages.
• Successful completion of language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Resume in English during application.
• High school diploma or equivalent as required by client credentialing standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Languages onsite.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols, standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements including HIPAA/FERPA/GLBA.
• Interact professionally with clients, patients, and other participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge for assignments.
