Job summary

FM Talent Source is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to deliver AV and conferencing support for healthcare and research organizations in the Washington, DC metro area. Located in Bethesda, MD, this full-time role supports hybrid meetings and a range of AV systems.

The candidate will manage day-to-day AV operations, troubleshoot equipment, and create SOPs while coordinating with vendors and internal teams. Public Trust clearance ability is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with professional experience, or an Associate's with more years of experience, or a high school diploma with extensive experience.
• One or more years of experience supporting audio-visual systems and conferencing technologies.
• Ability to gain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
• Excellent written and oral communications, and strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operations and maintenance of AV equipment, systems, and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot, reconfigure, and program AV equipment to ensure functionality.
• Ensure meeting readiness during core support hours.
• Onsite and remote support for MTR systems and peripherals.
