Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Reliability Engineer to provide specialized life cycle asset management focused on reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance improvements. The role emphasizes RCA, RCM, PM, PdM, and continuous improvement, with reporting to the EFIN Manager at Columbia, SC.

The position is 100% onsite with one WFH day per week to be determined. Responsibilities include performing FMEA/RCM analyses, developing maintenance plans, analyzing MTBF/MTTR/OEE,

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with at least 4 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with reliability methods such as FMEA, Weibull, RCA, and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with data collection and reliability analysis tools.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
• Open to limited travel and able to work in nuclear environments.

Responsibilities

• Map manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
• Perform reliability, critical asset, risk priority, RCA, and FMEA analyses.
• Develop maintenance plans based on failure modes and conditions.
• Create preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis and reliability improvements.
• Analyze MTBF, MTTR, and OEE to assess performance.
• Develop reliability reports and support continuous improvement.
• Coordinate reliability projects using MOC methods.
