Job summary

RHI Magnesita is seeking a maintenance reliability engineer to lead TPM and RCM initiatives in a fully on-site setting. You will drive autonomous, planned, and focused improvements to prevent failures and extend asset life across critical systems.

You will perform RCA and FMEA analyses, champion condition-based monitoring like vibration and thermography, and influence capital projects for long-term reliability. Collaboration with global experts will shape best practices and career growth.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• 5+ years of maintenance experience; 0–2 years of engineering experience.
• Hands-on TPM and RCM experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical and controls experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and CMMS (SAP preferred).
• Lean manufacturing skills (Kaizen, 5S, waste identification).
• Analytical mindset, safety focus, and ability to thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillars: Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, and Focused Improvement.
• Apply Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) to optimize strategies and extend asset life.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and FMEA to solve chronic issues and boost reliability.
• Champion condition-based monitoring (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) for early failure detection.
• Influence capital projects with a focus on long-term reliability and maintainability.
• Coach teams on TPM and RCM principles to build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
