Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering preferred for the REL Engineer title.
• HS diploma or equivalent required for the Specialist title.
• Experience with mechanical seals and rotating equipment.
• Proficiency with PC software and basic engineering principles.
• Familiarity with labor reporting, work orders, and SAP/QAD/MFG-PRO.

Responsibilities

• Review customer applications and recommend MTBR improvements.
• Evaluate applications and propose improvements with engineering input.
• Direct installation and commissioning of mechanical seals and support systems.
• Collect and analyze data; report results with reliability software.
• Provide technical counseling and assistance to customers and vendors.
• Possibly lead customer reliability personnel on site.
• Deliver customer training and support change-management processes.
• Coordinate data collection with project engineers and account managers.
