Job summary

GTI Fabrication is seeking a results-driven Recruiter to join our Buffalo, NY facility. The role covers the full recruiting lifecycle—from sourcing and screening to coordinating interviews, offers, and onboarding—ensuring a smooth candidate experience and strong hires for our manufacturing environments.

You will partner with managers, leverage multiple platforms, and build relationships to support rapid growth while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in high volume recruitment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or Human Resources.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced knowledge of productivity software, database management, and internet search methods.
• Experience in recruiting for multiple locations and multiple states.
• Familiarity with job boards and computer systems designed specifically for HR.
• Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods (phone, video, email, in-person).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with managers to understand hiring needs and meet competitive hiring goals.
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles.
• Foster high-touch relationships using a database of qualified candidates.
• Partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design innovative recruitment strategies.
• Post job descriptions on relevant platforms, especially social media.
• Develop relationships with managers to build awareness of departments and hiring needs.
• Conduct onboarding for new employees on their first day.
• Partner with hiring managers to build a robust onboarding program.
• Screen resumes and manage candidates through the hiring process.
• Maintain database of candidate records and statuses.
