Job summary

Inox Solar Americas LLC in North Carolina is seeking a Logistics Specialist - Raw Material Planning to support daily raw material planning for a manufacturing facility. You will execute MRP in ERP/SAP, maintain planning data, track POs, and coordinate with procurement, production planning, and warehouse teams to avert material risks and production delays.

Qualifications

Requires a degree in supply chain, business administration, industrial engineering, or related field; practical experience acceptable.
Strong Excel skills and data handling for planning and tracking

Responsibilities

Run the MRP process in ERP/SAP on a regular cycle to derive raw material requirements.
Monitor plans against actual production, flag variances, shortages, or excess inventory.
Maintain raw material master data (BOM, lead times, safety stock) to ensure reliable outputs.
Track key planning metrics and prepare status reports.
Convert material requirements into purchase requisitions/orders with procurement.
Follow up on order confirmations and shipments; escalate delays.
Coordinate with warehouse for receiving, storage, and issuance; keep ERP data in sync with physical stock.
Maintain supplier delivery performance records for reviews.
Act as a day-to-day contact for material availability questions from production, procurement, and warehouse teams.
Support S&OP data and planning reports; assist with ERP/MRP improvements.
