Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for per diem shifts in Southbridge, MA. The role is on-site with day shifts, working per diem hours as needed.

The technologist will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the medical team to deliver high-quality diagnostic images. Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registration or eligibility, MA licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible.
• Licensed by Massachusetts Dept. of Public Health: Radiation Control Program; annual licensure.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Maintain radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety during scans.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses and other staff.
