Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Harrington location in Southbridge, MA. The role involves on-site night shift imaging, patient safety, and ALARA practices while maintaining detailed records and collaborating with the medical team.

The position requires an accredited radiologic technology program graduate, ARRT registration or eligibility, and MA licensure. CPR certification is also required for ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological technology program.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible. Massachusetts licensure required.
• CPR certification and ongoing licensure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and ALARA standards.
• Explain procedures and obtain patient histories in English.
• Set up rooms and prepare contrast media as required.
• Maintain documentation and PACS transmission of images.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff.
