Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Southbridge, MA campus. The role focuses on producing diagnostic images, maintaining patient safety under ALARA, and communicating procedures to patients.

Responsibilities include room setup, image quality review, data entry to PACS, and teamwork with doctors and nurses. This full-time, on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological technology program.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible; MA licensure required.
• CPR certification and ongoing licensure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Adheres to ALARA and safety policies for patients and staff.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures their comfort.
• Sets up rooms and prepares contrast media as required.
• Maintains patient data and PACS submissions.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and staff to complete procedures.
