The Nuclear Company is seeking a Senior Radiation Protection Specialist to provide experienced RP support on nationwide projects in the commercial nuclear sector. You will lead field teams, perform radiological coverage, and ensure compliance with ALARA, NRC requirements, and customer procedures.

In this role you will mentor RP technicians, review radiological work practices, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project leadership to safely execute complex nuclear

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 years Radiation Protection experience in commercial nuclear power.
• Experience supporting outages and maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of NRC requirements and 10 CFR Part 20.

Mansioni

• Provide senior-level Radiation Protection support for outages and projects.
• Conduct radiological surveys and enforce controls.
• Lead ALARA planning and dose-reduction strategies.
• Mentor RP personnel and coordinate with site leadership.
