Job summary

RTX in Lansing, MI is seeking a professional Quality Manager to ensure QMS adherence and overall product quality within the Pratt & Whitney AutoAir center. You will support daily manufacturing operations and lead a team of quality engineers in a high-stakes aerospace environment.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with safety, operations, and engineering.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent with aerospace/defense experience preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years in Quality, Engineering, or Operations in regulated industry.
• 5+ years in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or MRO operations.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of quality engineers to deliver results with safety, quality, delivery, and cost in mind.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the quality organization.
• Collaborate with safety, operations, engineering, materials, and maintenance to meet deliverables and resolve issues.
• Evaluate and approve technical data and work instructions in support of engineering and operations.
• Oversee audits, nonconformities, and corrective actions across the manufacturing cell.
• Promote a culture of quality compliance and product safety across the business.
