United Alloy is hiring a Quality Supervisor to lead the quality team on site in Union, Ohio. You will plan work, coordinate audits, and ensure adherence to ISO standards while driving continuous improvement across production shifts.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in metal fabrication quality, blueprint literacy, and the ability to manage and train staff. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related production and quality experience – metal fabrication concepts and processes exposure.
• Able to operate overhead cranes, tape measure, basic hand tools, and air tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong people-management and leadership skills; delegate authority and provide guidance.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; capable of multitasking and prioritizing.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and advise quality employees; plan and assign work to meet internal and external quality requirements.
• Coordinate quality audits, technicians, and production staff to ensure smooth product flow.
• Review in-process quality failures and determine disposition of nonconforming material.
• Identify training needs and deliver required instruction.
• Monitor activities and adjust assignments as needed to meet priorities.
• Evaluate audit results against product specifications and decide pass/hold on cases.
• Support manufacturing management and teams on quality issues.
• Lead by example and promote a safe, compliant culture.
• Maintain Calibration System and ensure effective communication across shifts.
