Job summary

United Alloy is hiring a Quality Auditor to support production and the Quality Management System. You will perform inspections at each stage, ensure calibration, collect data, and report nonconforming parts. The role includes training operations and the authority to stop production if needed.

The position runs Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm–1:00am on 2nd shift with a $3.00/hour shift premium; on-site in Union, OH. Requires 2–3 years in a related quality function and high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in a related quality function.
• Solid understanding of metal fabrication concepts.
• Ability to read blueprints and determine material types and gauges.
• Proficient in Windows-based computer environments and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product at each stage to prints, travelers, and inspection sheets.
• Issue gauges and ensure proper calibration and identification.
• Collect and enter inspection results and quality records.
• Identify and report nonconforming product.
• Stop production when nonconforming parts are detected.
• Train operations on quality expectations when processes change.
