Job summary

RTX is seeking a Quality Mission Assurance Lead for our Goleta, CA site. This role will implement and guide quality and mission assurance across programs, ensuring supplier, product, and process compliance with internal and industry standards.

You will act as the voice of the customer to assure mission success on day one. The position is 100% onsite in Goleta with responsibilities spanning MRB/FRB, RCCA, and continuous improvement using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years engineering experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems.
• Root cause corrective actions and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead mission/quality assurance on programs.
• Discipline supplier quality and hardware quality tasks.
• Chair MRB/FRB and drive corrective actions.
• Present non-conformances to management.
• Provide program status and QA/process improvements.
