Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Quality Lab Technician to join the Engineered Fasteners team on-site in Elyria, OH. You will perform various tests, inspect parts, and help ensure customer satisfaction through rigorous quality control.

You will maintain records, assist with root-cause analysis, and support continuous improvement while working in a safety-conscious environment. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Control.
• Knowledge of basic Quality Assurance activities.
• ISO 9001:2015/ISO/IATF manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong documentation and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardness, tensile, and optical testing.
• Inspect products against blueprints and inspection sheets.
• Process and maintain customer returns (RMAs).
• Issue first piece approvals for production floor.
• Calibrate measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow health and safety regulations.
