Job summary

IS International in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Contract Manufacturing Quality Inspector to serve as on-site quality representative at CM and supplier facilities. You will monitor manufacturing quality, perform risk-based inspections, document nonconformances, support corrective actions, and escalate conditions that could affect safety, compliance, or delivery.

Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, and suppliers to prevent quality escapes and ensure shipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience performing inspections and documenting nonconformances.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Experience verifying corrective actions and engineering changes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active quality presence on the manufacturing floor during production.
• Perform risk-based in-process, final, and pre-shipment inspections using approved requirements.
• Verify conformance to drawings, specs, and inspection plans.
• Support NPI, ramp, first-article, and customer-specific builds.
