Job summary

IS International Services is seeking a Contract Manufacturing Quality Inspector to serve as the on-site quality representative at assigned CM and supplier facilities.

The role monitors manufacturing quality, performs risk-based inspections, documents nonconformances, supports corrective actions, and escalates conditions that could affect safety, compliance, product performance, delivery, or customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in quality, manufacturing, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in quality inspection or related industrial environments.
• Experience documenting nonconformances and verifying corrective actions.
• Background in contract manufacturing or electrical-mechanical equipment preferred.
• BESS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active quality presence on the manufacturing floor during production.
• Perform risk-based inspections and verify compliance with drawings and specs.
• Support NCRs and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Escalate quality, safety, and shipment risks promptly.
• Document inspection records, NCRs, and traceability evidence.
• Provide routine status updates on inspections and shipment readiness.
