Matlen Silver is seeking a Quality Engineer for a 12-month contract dedicated to supporting production and assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes RCA, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams.

The position is 100% onsite in Portage, MI, with Monday–Friday scheduling. Applicants should have an engineering degree and experience in regulated manufacturing environments, preferably medical device-related.

Formación

• Engineering degree or closely related technical degree.
• Experience in Quality Engineering, QA, Manufacturing Quality, Production Quality, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Medical device or regulated manufacturing industries experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality support for production and assembly operations.
• Investigate quality and production issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Support non-conforming product investigations and corrective actions.
• Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, and Quality teams.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving quality issues.
• Support process and product quality improvements.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
