RTX invites applications for a Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) at White Sands Missile Range, NM. This onsite role focuses on ensuring product quality across all life-cycle phases and collaborating with quality, operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to meet customer objectives.

Qualified candidates typically hold a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of quality engineering experience and must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years’ Quality Engineering experience.
• Working experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assure product quality and effectiveness throughout all life-cycle phases.
• Collaborate with quality, operations, supply chain and engineering personnel.
• Ensure programs meet customer/end user objectives and close quality issues.
• Review risk and opportunity data to lead projects and reduce risks.
• Investigate failures and drive root cause analysis to closure.
• Support failure investigation teams and ensure compliance with ISO9001/AS9100.
