Job summary

Simformotion LLC in East Peoria, IL seeks a Software Quality Automation Engineer to strengthen testing through automation, AI-assisted tooling, and scalable frameworks.

You will build, maintain, and execute test plans; expand coverage in PractiTest; perform functional, regression, and integration testing; collaborate with developers, testers, designers, and product managers to drive faster, higher-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and QA best practices.
• Experience developing, maintaining, or contributing to automated testing solutions, frameworks, or automation tooling.
• Demonstrated ability to identify manual processes and translate them into scalable automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Expand and improve test coverage within PractiTest.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across simulator and software products.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions and scalable frameworks.
• Help establish automation strategies, standards, and best practices across products.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, designers, and the Product Manager throughout the lifecycle.
