Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Field Service Representative (Propulsion System Maintenance & Sustainment) to support Edison Works programs, with an initial on-site training period at Cincinnati/Evendale, OH. After training, relocation to a customer site will establish the first on-site propulsion system expert capability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Familiarity with U.S. military organizations, maintenance and sustainment processes, and the DoD IPS elements
• Familiarity with turbine engine systems and logistics/sustainment processes for military turbine engines
• Minimum 6 years of experience related to the role responsibilities, including at least 4 years of military or DoD-related industry experience
• Work location on-site at GE Aerospace headquarters in Cincinnati, OH for approximately one year prior to relocating to customer site (limited remote work due to security requirements)
• Travel: estimated 20–40% travel

Responsibilities

• Training & deployment readiness: complete required training and security requirements for deployment and relocation
• Technical knowledge development: shadow engine assembly teams to learn propulsion system design and manufacturing processes
• Cross-functional integration: work with GE Aerospace engineering and product support teams
• Sustainment requirements & planning: understand IPS requirements and align for customer needs
• Maintenance training support: help develop a maintenance training plan for customer maintainers
• Support equipment expertise: gain deep knowledge of propulsion system support equipment
• Technical manuals & procedures: build expertise in manuals and inspection/repair procedures
• Engineering collaboration: partner with Maintainability, Reliability, Safety, and Human Factors teams
• Operating rhythm & progress reporting: provide regular updates to drive execution
• Customer site relocation & support: relocate and act as on-site propulsion system expert
