Job summary

The Enclave Collection in Jersey City, NJ seeks a Full-Time Maintenance Associate to ensure our properties are well-maintained and safe for residents. This on-site role involves executing work orders, painting turnovers, and daily inspections.

You will work independently, handle preventive maintenance tasks, and support snow removal, landscaping, and common area upkeep, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience in property management or relevant maintenance fields.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Yardi.
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Well organized with excellent time-management skills.
• Knowledge of regulations and laws regarding property management.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Work overtime hours as required.
• Work in varying environmental conditions.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Professional image and strong verbal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Execute work orders and apartment turnovers promptly and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and conduct daily inspections of the property.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of elevators, hallways, amenities, and common areas.
• Prep and paint apartments according to the turn schedule and prepare make-ready units.
• Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and general maintenance tasks.
• Handle lock, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and HVAC maintenance tasks.
• Maintain inventory lists of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Report issues to Management and participate in the preventive maintenance program.
• Comply with safety regulations and demonstrate a "safety first" principle.
