Job summary

Capital Square Living is seeking a Service (Maintenance) Specialist to maintain the physical aspects of our buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and prepare vacant units for leasing.

You’ll also help with grounds maintenance and property inspections while delivering courteous, solution-focused service to residents. The role operates onsite, with a Monday–Friday schedule and on-call hours.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering quality customer service in a property or maintenance setting.
• Ability to diagnose problems and take corrective actions safely.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication with residents, team members and management.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Makes repairs following safety standards and code requirements.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Maintains grounds, common areas and amenities; handles cleaning tasks as needed.
• Inspects property for safety and risk management concerns.
• Responds to questions and resolves customer problems calmly.
