Job summary

Capital Square Living is seeking a Service (Maintenance) Specialist in Midlothian, VA to maintain building interiors, exteriors and grounds. You will diagnose and repair issues, prepare vacant units for leasing, and support safety and upkeep across the property.

Role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong organizational and customer service abilities, and effective communication with residents and team members.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Repairs according to policies, safety standards and codes.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing and new move-ins.
• Obtains supplies and completes maintenance tasks, inspects work performed.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas and amenities, including cleaning debris.
• Pressure-washes walkways and pool areas, paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Assists in property inspections to identify safety and risk concerns.
• Responds to questions; addresses and resolves resident problems calmly.
• Keeps property in good repair and communicates needs to management.
