Job summary

King & Bishop in Woburn, MA is seeking a Property Accountant to support the monthly financial reporting process for managed properties, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and accounts receivable.

This full‑time role is on site, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, 1–2 years of related experience, familiarity with MRI software, and strong general ledger and cash receipts skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a related field or internship preferred.
• MRI software knowledge is a plus.
• General ledger and cash receipts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned properties.
• Prepare year-end audit packages and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile and analyze escrow accounts.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely payment of loans, real estate taxes, insurance, and other property-related expenses.
• Monitor and manage cash balances for assigned properties.
• Conduct annual internal property audits.
• Collaborate with internal departments to research issues and resolve discrepancies.
