Ideal candidate will drive MRV strategy, coordinate cross-functional teams, and advance CREW's market strategy through stakeholder engagement in the climate tech and utility sectors.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in carbon markets, climate tech, environmental engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with carbon registries, carbon credit buyers, and policy stakeholders is strongly preferred.
• Strong background in climate science, geochemistry, oceanography, or related fields.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• In-depth understanding of global greenhouse gas protocols and lifecycle assessment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• MRV & Protocol: Drive development and refinement of CDR protocols with registries, buyers, governments, and standards bodies.
• Lead end-to-end project validation and verification with independent third parties, including data delivery and onsite visits.
• Collaborate with R&D and Lab Ops to ensure MRV methodologies are technically rigorous and aligned with requirements.
• Water Sector Implementation: Align carbon removal operations with municipal wastewater treatment priorities and process optimization goals.
• Monitor evolving policy frameworks relevant to wastewater treatment, GHG removal, and environmental impact.
• Build trusted relationships across water utilities, registries, standards bodies, and coalitions to position CREW's technology.
