Job summary

CREW Carbon, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead project execution as we scale up our decarbonization technology. You will oversee end-to-end project management, ensure on-time deployment across wastewater facilities, and coordinate with partners, suppliers, and engineering services firms.

This full-time role requires travel across the U.S. You will work with cross-functional teams to install and operate CREW’s technology, manage budgets, and deliver high-quality results in

Qualifications

• Four to eight years in civil/ mechanical engineering or technical project management.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules for multiple sites.
• Experience sourcing subcontractors and ensuring delivery to requirements.
• Strong writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, with a practical approach to execution.
• Experience with startup environments and rapid scaling is a plus.
• Ability to travel 30–60% and lift up to 50 pounds with tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management with timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure installation and performance of CREW’s technology.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including procurement and logistics.
• Prepare scope of work, RFPs, cost estimates, schedules, and project docs.
• Develop detailed work plans and engineering execution planning.
• Conduct fieldwork including construction inspection, piping, training, commissioning, startup.
• Provide post-deployment support and coordinate with equipment vendors.
