Job summary

LTTS is seeking an EP-Project Manager to lead major projects in refining, chemical and petrochemical sectors. You will organize multi-office engineering, procurement, and controls from FEED through close-out, making on-site technical decisions aligned with the ExxonMobil Project Team.

You will establish teams, develop execution plans, manage estimates and procurement, and mentor engineers while driving continuous improvement in project processes and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters Engineering Degree in Chemical / Mechanical / Civil / Instrumentation & Control Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline teams and managing client relationships.
• Experience with FEED/DED, procurement and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Establish project teams, coordinate activities of multiple disciplines and ensure efficient project execution, with accountability.
• Develop project execution plans for safety, staffing, budgeting and critical objectives, applying leadership to manage changes.
• Manage estimates, engineering deliverables, procurement of equipment and bulk materials during FEED and DED.
• Encourage and implement workshare execution for all engineering and procurement scopes.
• Demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature judgement in mitigating risks.
• Provide feedback to department managers for project team members.
• Mentor PEs and PMs to support career development.
• Participate in organizational improvement initiatives as needed.
• Ensure project review processes and quality guidelines are followed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client personnel at all levels.
• Support continuous improvement of PM execution systems, processes and procedures.

The EP-Project Manager is accountable for the full performance of every phase of a project or a group of projects in the refining, chemical and petrochemical industries, including the strategic and tactical planning, directing, supervising and controlling of all technical, fiscal and administrative contractual functions, for both home office and site. This person will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing multi-office engineering disciplines, procurement, project controls and subcontractors to deliver major EP projects from front-end engineering, through detailed design, procurement, construction support and engineering close-out. Will be empowered to make on-site Engineering Technical decisions, in alignment with ExxonMobil Project Team.

• Establish project teams, coordinate activities of multiple disciplines and ensure efficient project execution, with accountability.
• Develop project execution plans for safety, project staffing, budgeting and establishing critical project objectives, applying your leadership skills to manage client and internal changes.
• Manage the production of estimates (including trending), engineering deliverables, procurement of engineered equipment and bulk materials, during FEED and DED.
• Encourage and implement successful workshare execution for all engineering and procurement scopes.
• Demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature judgement in anticipating risks and mitigating those risks.
• Provide feedback to department managers for project team members, as appropriate.
• Mentor PE's and PM's to assist with their career development.
• Participate in organizational improvement initiatives as needed.
• Ensure the project review process and other quality control guidelines are followed.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing client personnel, particulary at executive levels, but also at all levels of management.
• Support continuous improvement of project management execution systems, work processes and procedures.
