Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc seeks a Project Manager to lead profitable execution of small-dollar fire installation projects in the Seattle area. You will coordinate with Sales, Operations Leadership, and subcontractors, develop project plans, manage scope, costs, and schedules, and pursue change orders to maintain cash flow.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering or architecture, PMP preferred, strong MS Project/Office skills, and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Ability to communicate technical material to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site execution for assigned projects to ensure on-time, in-budget delivery.
• Provide work direction to engineers, designers, and subcontractors.
• Develop Project Execution Plans, schedules, and risk logs.
• Manage scope, costs, resources, and change orders to optimize cash flow.
• Review contracts, billings, and subcontractor performance for compliance.
