Job summary

Eaton's Fibrebond manufacturing campus in Minden, LA is seeking a Project Engineer to design custom enclosures for switchgear, UPS, and generators, spanning mechanical and electrical systems.

You will manage the drawing process, specify components, configure electrical and environmental systems, coordinate with customers and contractors, and assist with project execution on site with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Manage the drawing process with drafting team from customer approval through as-built drawing stages.
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings as necessary.
• Enter and maintain current project information in the Engineering Database.
• Travel to meet with customers, providing technical support for business development and project management (less than 20 days per year).
