Job summary

Hoffman Construction seeks a Project Engineer Intern to support the project team on an active site in Texas. The role covers coordination of logistics, subcontractors, field inspections, quality control, scheduling, BIM/VDC, safety and documentation from preconstruction through closeout.

This on-site internship is 40 hours per week with compensation described in the salary range. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, creating meeting minutes and checklists, handling RFIs, organizing

Qualifications

• Education in civil engineering, construction management, architecture or equivalent.
• Experience organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method.
• Familiarity with CSI specification system for construction.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprint drawings and technical manuals for field teams.
• Publish meeting minutes, schedule graphs and activity checklists.
• Handle RFIs and change documents across offices.
• Organize and file project records and deliverables.
• Survey and layout control lines and benchmarks on site.
• Provide on-site technical guidance from preconstruction to closeout.
