Job summary

Therma, a Legence company, is seeking a Project Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT to work with Project Managers on planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and project accounting from preconstruction to closeout. This hands-on role offers broad exposure to managing large commercial HVAC/mechanical projects onsite.

You'll bring 2–3+ years of construction project experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent written/verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of construction project experience with HVAC or plumbing mechanical contractor on large commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support all areas of project management, including planning, cost management, time management, quality management, contract administration, and safety management.
• Help manage schedules, billings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders, and help select and monitor subcontractors.
• Handle preconstruction administrative duties.
• Own submittal management, COR/CO management, and schedule updates.
• Prepare for and take part in all relevant project meetings.
• Manage project reporting and track project issues.
• Prepare project closeout documents and internal work documents.
• Provide administrative and office support to the project management team.
