Job summary

Structor Construction, LLC is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer in Frisco, TX, to support project management through submittals, RFIs, procurement, and documentation. This role emphasizes mentorship and steady growth toward Assistant Project Manager, with on-site duties and active collaboration with field staff.

The position emphasizes learning by doing, thorough attention to schedules, and coordination across trades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience in CM/engineering/architecture/business.
• Zero to three years of construction experience; internships count.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to read plans, specs, and construction documents with growing proficiency.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Strong work ethic and interest in how buildings come together.

Responsibilities

• Manage the RFI process end to end from draft to close out with design and field teams.
• Build and maintain the submittal log from project start to closeout.
• Procure and expedite materials, equipment, and subcontractor services per schedule.
• Maintain document control: daily reports, procurement logs, testing logs, change orders.
• Distribute approved submittals and drawings to all parties promptly.
• Organize and archive project files for easy access by team and trades.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, and actions for meetings (OAC, subcontractors, staff).
• Assemble closeout documentation: as-builts, warranties, O&M manuals, owner training materials.
• Handle project buyout, subcontract and PO prep; assist with change orders and scheduling.
• Support safety programs and quality control inspections and reviews.
