Job summary

Juneau Construction Company, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager and Superintendent on project execution with emphasis on coordination of work, procurement, and expediting trade partners. Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent management experience.
• LEED AP preferred.
• 3–5 years experience on projects $30M+ in contract value.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate jobsite office setup, permits, and coordination.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for accuracy.
• Expedite and monitor subcontractor and vendor materials.
• Communicate schedules and conflicts with trade partners to resolve issues.
• Support development and issuance of project schedule using scheduling software.
• Organize on-site contractor meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Assist in cost projecting and review of costs with the Project Manager.
• Identify and resolve design-drawing conflicts during construction.
• Work with Superintendent to resolve field issues and drive resolution.
• Prepare, track, and issue RFIs; manage IOC logs.
• Assist in pricing owner changes and subcontractor changes.
• Record changes to scope and issue change orders after PM review.
• Support on-site safety program administration and inspections.
• Maintain logs tracking costs with field tickets and deliveries.
• Review pay applications and contribute to monthly owner billings.
• Assist in purchasing schedule creation and subcontracts issuance.
