Job summary

STO Building Group in Washington state is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations from project initiation through closeout, under the guidance of the Project Superintendent and Project Manager. You will help develop the project plan, manage the schedule with subcontractors, review contracts and specifications, and ensure safety and quality throughout the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in related construction sector.
• Knowledge of building codes and blueprints.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience using project management software and ability to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers.
• Ensure safety and quality per Abbott’s standards and program.
• Review Prime Contract & Subcontract plans to understand job requirements.
• Develop project plan including schedule, access, resources, and building requirements.
• Manage subcontractor team onsite and drive the project schedule.
• Communicate with stakeholders and resolve construction issues.
• Prepare RFI’s and submittal information with Project Manager.
