Job summary

PCI Federal (PCIF) seeks a Project Control Accountant to support the Corporate Accounting Team onsite. The role reports to the Corporate Director of Finance and Administration and focuses on project accounting for government contracts.

Key duties include project setup in CostPoint, cost baselines, budgets, forecasting, variance analysis, and month-end close support. Strong Excel, CostPoint, and Cognos experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in accounting or business field.
• 5+ years of project accounting experience for government contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work with accounting, contracts, and project personnel.

Responsibilities

• Performs Project Setup in CostPoint (new awards, modifications).
• Develops project cost/schedule baselines and budgets.
• Monitors project actuals and resolves issues.
• Monitors outstanding project commitments.
• Develops monthly project forecasts/EACs and conducts variance analysis.
• Interfaces with management to communicate project status monthly.
• Supports Month End Close with project data and questions.
• Assists in contract closeouts and risk analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.
