Job summary

Consigli Construction Co., Inc. seeks a Project Accountant to support financial management of construction projects within the Project Accounting team. You will work with the Project Accounting Manager and Finance to handle A/P, subcontractor costing, owner billings, and cost reporting.

The role requires attention to detail, collaboration across project teams, and solid understanding of project-based accounting practices in construction. Reports to Project Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Project Accounting.
• Experience administering accounting/compliance for federally funded construction projects.
• Familiarity with FAR Part 31 cost principles and indirect cost allocations.
• Experience with cost-reimbursable and time-and-material contracts.

Responsibilities

• Process and track accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Set up, enter, and maintain project budgets within the accounting system.
• Manage end-to-end owner billing process per contract terms.
• Process intercompany transactions including invoicing, payments, and reconciliation.
• Assist with monthly cost reporting and supporting monthly closings.
