Job summary

Carley Corporation is seeking a Program Management Specialist to support the Submarine Learning Center (SLC) in Groton, CT. This onsite role requires an active Secret clearance or recent activity, CAC access, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

You will oversee the task order, coordinate staffing, and manage performance in a government contract environment. The position emphasizes risk management, reporting, and coordination with Government stakeholders to ensure compliant, timely deliverables

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and five years’ experience in educational design or training development.
• Experience supporting Navy/DoD or federal defense contracts is preferred.
• Ability to manage staffing, schedules, costs, and performance simultaneously.
• Strong written communication and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of federal contracts and task orders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single POC with COR and government representatives.
• Provide overall management and oversight for the task order.
• Ensure qualified personnel are assigned and available.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, staffing, and replacements.
• Monitor performance, staffing, schedules, deliverables, and funding.
• Prepare monthly status and performance reports.
• Advise COR on status, staffing, risks, and issues.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review requirements, SOOs, funding matters, and contract mods.
• Coordinate invoice processing and ensure proper documentation.
