Job summary

Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a production supervisor to lead frontline teams on the shop floor, drive safety, quality, delivery and cost goals, and implement improvements using problem solving and data.

You will manage staffing, conduct performance evaluations, coach employees, and partner with HR on incident investigations, while advancing continuous improvement and ensuring adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong employee relations management experience.
• Ability to coach, direct and develop employees.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work closely with operators.

Responsibilities

• Own the four main metrics (safety, quality, delivery, productivity).
• Spend 75% on the floor supervising production; 25% on admin/project tasks.
• Lead and model Brunswick values and EVP across teams.
• Communicate professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Utilize Shop Floor Manager, OBMS, and other tools for daily duties and projects.
• Oversee a line/area; manage staffing needs and select candidates for open roles.
• Ensure safety compliance, conduct safety audits and incident investigations.
