Job summary

Oxide seeks a Production Quality Engineer to own on-site quality at our CM sites in Rochester and Winona, MN. You will lead the front-line defense, advocate for quality attributes, and drive corrective actions across assembly and test.

You will read schematics and drawings, work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to prevent non-conformances, and implement improvements that balance cost, quality, and schedule while ensuring customer expectations are met.

Qualifications

• Experience improving production quality across electronics manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret schematics and drawings.
• Strong communication skills with multiple teams.
• Experience with contract manufacturers (CM) in electronics.
• Proven track record solving non-conformances and root cause.
• Ability to balance cost, quality, and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Own incoming material and production non-conformances.
• Lead front-line defense of Oxide products on-site at CM.
• Collaborate with CM QA and production engineering to prevent defects.
• Execute 8D corrective actions for customer escapes.
• Perform line walks and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
• Review CM production and incoming inspection plans.
• Develop and sustain processes and procedural documentation.
• Understand Oxide hardware from PCBA to rack-level.
